Posting Rules
1. Do not spam.
spamming can be defined as a one word post. This can also mean just a few words, or even a post with only OCC chat in it. If you really need to leave someone a note, as to explain an absense from a roleplay, you can easily just PM them.
2. Posts must be at once one good paragraph.
these isn't a limit on sentences in a good paragraph. Every post must contain at least one paragraph (anywhere from three to eight sentences). If you run out of things to say try describing what your person sees, feels, thinks, hears... etc.
3. Do not double post.
this means do not make one post in a thread, or start a thread, and then post again. If you're roleplaying with another character and they haven't replied back, then try sending them a PM to remind them about the thread. It's possible they just forgot. If you'd like to get the thread started try PMing a few people and asking if they'd like to roleplay, them send them the link of the thread.
4. Stay in character (and keep in mind which character you're roleplaying with).
if you have more than one character make sure you remember which one you're roleplaying with at the given time as to prevent confusion for the other characters. do not go out of the character in your posts. If you must ask a quick question or add a little note then put OCC in parenthesis or brackets either above or below the text in your post.
5. Signatures and Avatars.
avatars are to be either 50x50 or 100x100. signatures are allowed to be two different sizes, and for examples I will post the two sizes so if you're unsure, you may copy these images and just place your pictures above it.

OUT OF CHARACTER
Starting Out
As all of you should know. This is Date City. It's a city where not only do dreams become reality, but a city where drama takes over. In this particular city there are very few requirements. The requirements of living here are as follows:
1. You first need to create your character.
there is to be one character per account. You are allowed two accounts per email address (remember I can see your email address so there's no use in lying about it). there is a specific form to be filled out, too. Every piece of the form must be filled out correctly in order for you to become a citizen in Date City.
2. All characters are to have jobs.
jobs can be found all over the city, and since Date City is starting out brand new, there are plenty of jobs to be found, or created. (PM me for more information on creating your own job or workplace.) characters without jobs have up to three weeks, from when they quit or were fired, to find a new job with the consent of the owner of the workplace. If they fail to meet this standard then they will be placed in a job by either the mayor (Asuka Thorn) or the mayor's assistant.

Suggestions - Read First « Result #4 on Oct 15, 2006, 11:25pm »
I see you've made your way to the suggestions board. In this board you can suggest something you think the site needs. All you need to do is create a thread.
Guests may post.
This board is strictly for improving Date City. This is also in OOC.
You may suggest anything you wish. If you agree that something really needs to be changed, but there is already a thread with a similar idea, then I suggest posting to it - therefore letting me know, making the change would benefit more than just one.
